we all know what time of year it is.
summer.
which means that the fall and winter lines are available!
[including christmas decor in the holiday section of hobby lobby. wtf, people.]
i just picked up cuckoo for this color by opi, after laboriously perusing their fall/winter '10 Swiss line. good thing i am horrible at taking pictures and my fingers look like they are melting into each other... but you get the gist, don't you? a perfect shimmering teal that will take me all the way into spring. [if i ever committed to nails for that long anymore. oh, how the times change.]
of the entire collection, this is probably the only one that i will buy. i love it that much. [i am the monogamous kind.]
however...when it comes to essie polish, i am more of a playa. i basically lust after every single color they've ever created, and you know i have no self-control.
the fall '10 line is no different.
swoon and a half.
excuse my teeny tiny pictures, but the line doesn't hit stores until september and the internets are surprisingly bare when it comes to photos of these delicious colors.
that green!? are you kidding me!?
perfect.
one of these days, i am going to stop buying nailpolish, okay? and don't you dare hold me to that.

your first line of this hit a good nerve with me! I start having holiday syndrome around July. Is it weird Jake and I are making thanksgiving thursday (with the works..turkey, stuffing, pie)...and my house smells like nutmeg and cinnamon apples? and at work I'm really excited we are swtiching our t-shirts to thermals. anyways I love your striped shirt. And I spy little disk necklace! oh and we all say we're going to stop buying nail polish but it never happens, trust me :) the collection is humungo.
i need these colors on my fingers right now. you could just send them all to africa if you please, i wouldn't mind one little bit. and by the way, you will have to get over your season/holiday appropriate wear because we ARE celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years upon my return. we will do a 4 day celebration, each day will be a different holiday, it will be grand, best 4 days that ever existed.
this week my nails are lavender. it reminds me a whole bunch of you. the kids love it, so i have to bring it to Smile today and paint loads of little nails.
love you to the moon.
IT NEEDS TO BE FALLLLLLLLLLLLL
this past week i've had my nails black and then dark grey.
i'm itching for darker colors and sweaters and socks!
